Why is Mrs May wasting time and money calling an election now?

She has just triggered Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.  Our exit from the EU is going to be extremely difficult.  The EU is NOT going to give us an easy ride.  Mrs May must know this.

Moreover, she is also probably concerned that the austerity measures to come are likely to be very unpopular.  This could lead to defeat for the Conservatives in an election in 2020.

Before the negotiations begin and with the Labour party in disarray,  she is hoping for a large majority and a five year term as Prime Minister.

THIS BOTHERS ME.  DOES IT BOTHER YOU?

Before I go on. Let me tell you about myself.

I have lived in Redbridge for 61 years and taught in local schools.  I consider myself to be a pure socialist and believe that life should be as fair as possible.
I care for the poor and disadvantaged and I appreciate the wealthy.
as long as they are principled and honest.

WHY AM I STANDING FOR PARLIAMENT?

I have a husband, children, grandchildren, family  and friends.  I know the problems they and we are  facing.

WHY SHOULD YOU VOTE FOR AN INDEPENDENT?

I am Independent
I am not  Conservative, Labour, or Lib Dem.
I do not belong to a party.

I do not have to follow the party line.

WHAT COULD I DO IN PARLIAMENT?

I am passionate that people should be treated fairly and be given a chance to a good I life.  I have experience and age on my side.  I would do all in my power
to put forward my views, to advise the ministers, to talk to MPs to suggest ways
to improve our society.

Voting for a party politician has not helped.

Give someone different a chance.
